Summerfest is an annual festival at the lake front in Milwaukee. With big bands, food, and liquor it is the biggest event in Milwaukee each year. This past year the new Director expanded the event to include a new 3 day event called "Encore" at the end of summer. Without any real branding except the Summerfest "Smile" I went to work to promote the event. Using familiar colors and band imagery the ads performed at a remarkable level. With a timely message counting down the days the ads performed at .50% over 6 days.
