Joint Restoration Insitute of Wisconsin

Interactive Design

The Joint Restoration Institute of Wisconsin offers treatments for individuals with cartilage, ligament, or tendon damage. Cary Zigman, of Covenant Healthcare, commissioned me along with Brian McCarty M.D. to create a specialized site outside the rigid framework of the Covenant Healthcare site. The goal was to further promote the new institute and their procedures.

Working with Dr. McCarty and the marketing department I created a site architecture that was easily adaptable to add new content and procedures. The site is really a starting point for individuals researching knee, hip, or joint issues.

With a mass of information to educate the user the site helps familarize people with the procedures, the doctor, and others who have gone through similar situations.

The result is a friendly design that is not too clinical while offering the information that you'd expect from a medical resource. The site is still growing and expanding as the Institute has just opened in 2005. But the response has already made the site a success.
